Tulips & Apple Pies

Tonight hubby surprised us girls with flowers when he got home from work. The yellow ones for me and the pink for the girls.... He's the best...... and if you want to see a little girl light up, that's what will happen when a daddy brings  flowers :)

I'm wondering if secretly he just wanted to replace the fantastic Easter centerpiece that I created.........

I have recently discovered the world of PINTEREST. If you have not tryed it yet - Beware -  it is addictive! Make sure you have loads of free time before you log on. Anyway, I pinned this Easter craft, because I liked the glass jar with the eggs and the sticks - not so much the bunny! Being my crafty little self I decided to attempt this as my new Easter centerpiece. So above the lovely Pinterest craft......

Yesterday was a busy day for us, so while the girlies worked hard at school, Cooper washed all our plastic Easter eggs to get ready for the big family hunt....

He did a great job :)

Later we headed down to the river because we had heard the ice had broken apart and moved out - 1 month earlier than usual! You see we've been having record breaking temps for our area and the earliest spring ever! It's been up in the 70's and 80's all week! Which caused all the snow to melt EARLY! Yay!!!!

Last night the girls had their last basketball game of the season.

Off to Find the Waterfall.......

So yesterday afternoon we decided to go off on a little adventure through the woods in search of a waterfall........

We of course got sidetracked quite often :)

So I'm told that you should beable to reach the waterfall after only walking for 30-40 minutes into the woods.....

And we did find the falls after 1 hour and 45 minutes............. :)

I know - breathtaking.......

Who else thought there'd be more water???

Guess what? Three year old boys are " so hungry Mama " after a long trek through the woods...

Is it Summer Yet???

You see the kids and I bought hubby this tiny tiny tent for his birthday and we are so excited to try it out!

This here is where we'll be attempting to pitch our new tiny tent.....

because you see..... The kids have been waiting for months to do this again.....

and play in this again.....

My Little Tractor Man....

As I was cleaning Mr.Tractor Man's room the other day, it occured to me that he has too many tractors! Is that possible? Probaly not if you asked him! You tell me....

These are just the ones that keep him company while he dreams........

After talking about it for months, I have finally taken the inititive and started my blog! Thanks to my handsome hubby who helped me figure all this stuff out.... and here I go :) I want this to be a place where family members near and far can keep up with all our happenings!
